Good evening to you all my fashion students welcome to another tutorial, today I will be showing you how to cut and sew a combom free gown
measurement

This is the material
First of all I folded the material into two then I mark the gown length, the gown length is 47 so I mark 47 and add extra 2 inches for sewing allowance, the next thing is to mark the shoulder, the shoulder line is 16 so I mark 16 inches and add 1 inches for sewing allowance then I mark bust point her bust point is 10 inchies so I mark 10 inchies the next thing is to mark the under bust the under bust is 14 so I mark 14 inches the next thing is to mark the hip point her hip point is 26 so I mark 26 inches then I took the shoulder measurement at were I marked shoulder line her shoulder measurement is 17 so I mark 17 inches and add extra 1 inche for sewing allowance then I took her bust measurement at were I marked bust point her bust measurement is 43 so I mark 43 inches and add 2 inches for sewing allowance the next thing is to took the under bust measurement her under bust is 36 inches so I mark 36 inchies and 2 inches for sewing allowance the next thing is to took her under bust waist measurement her hip measurement her hip measurement is 45 so I marked 45 inchies and add 2 inches for sewing allowance then I Minnors 5 inches from the hips and have the knee length then I connect it together and cut it out
the back
I folded the material again into two then I places the front on top of the material and add 2 inches for zip allowance then I Minnors 5 from the hip to have the knee length then I cut it out
the sewing begins
I use linning to turn the dress, to make the edges of the dress to be neat then I pipe the neck with Bayer's then I put zip
the front
I use the linning to neaten the edges of the dress then I pipe the neck and I use this material to design the dress
I folded the material into two then I marked her gown length , her gown length is 45 so I mark 45 all round
After I cut it out I places the material on the front part and stitches it then I neaten the edges of the dress as you can see in the picture below
The next thing is to places the front and back together and shape it in her normal measurement then I put pocket by the side after that I iron the dress this is the finish results
