INTRODUCTION

The Nigerian currency is called the NAIRA, produced and circulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the highest bank in the country.
It's not encouraging and its also shows low patriotism that many Nigerians both Abroad and at home dont know who those figures are on each of the currency they hold and why they are there.
If you ask them they just carry those currency to buy whatever they want to and thats all for them. Even the kids who are leaders of tomorrow dont even know their past heroes talkless of knowing what they did to deserve such an honour of being on the national currency. Well I have compiled a short but detailed story on the heroes inscribed on each of the national currencies and their date of birth (D.O.B), when they died and possibly what killed some of them.
