10 Bring all the tithes to the storehouse (A) and let there be food in my house; And prove me now in this, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you, and will pour out a blessing on you until it abounds.
11 I will also rebuke the devourer for you, and the fruit of the ground will not destroy you, nor will your vine in the field be barren, says the Lord of hosts.
Currently much is said about the tithe, this issue has been debated in many ways and its figure in the church has been discredited enough, even so it is good to go to the scriptures, and if we believe in God, we must also believe the word, to know that God does not change that He is the same always, therefore what He said at one time will remain valid and firm at all times.
These verses of Malachi teach us God himself leaving a message, today many believe that taking tithes and offerings to the church is to enrich the pastor, but the truth to all this is that we must be obedient, no matter what others do, each one He will be judged according to his actions, and it is correct that due to the greedy attitude of many and their bad behavior the church has lost authority and respect, but it is not in us to judge that, our duty is to obediently comply with the word of God.
Even so, the bible also says that the worker is worthy of his salary, we must understand that the people who are working in the church deserve to be honored because they dedicate their time to help us grow spiritually and for the kingdom of God to expand. .
Even so, ignoring all this, we must believe in what God said and established, look at what he says that he will rebuke the devourer for us, so let's not leave doors open to be destroyed, rather let's do as we have received from God, He promises to bless us until over and abound therefore we will be able to bless many more.
Beloved, it does not matter what others will do, it matters your relationship with God, it matters to fulfill his mandates, if God uses us to meet the needs of others, rest assured that He will also meet yours.
We must be grateful and just as we are blessed we must be willing to bless others we must honor those who work day by day trying to bring us to a spiritual level where we can approach God with confidence.
