Let's xray the scripture.
It was clearly stated that the just shall live by "HIS" faith not just faith ordinarily but "HIS" faith. That makes Faith Personal.

Faith is your personal conviction of God prompted by your personal Revelations and dealings.

When God spoke to Isaac, He said "I am the God of your father Abraham.", After Isaac walked with God and knew God for Himself, God said to Jacob, "I am the God of your fathers Abraham and Isaac", today we can call him "The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob".

What sustained Jacob was not the faith of His fathers but His own faith. Until you have a personal conviction about the God of your fathers, God won't be your God.

Quite unfortunate most believers are yet to believe God for themselves, they are like the man that screemed; "Master I believe help thou mine unbelief" (Mark 9:24)
He had faith but didn't have his faith.

The revelation of your pastor which you see evident in His life may not empower your daily living because your personal conviction about His God is still weak. Yes, you are just, but your living is dependent on your faith.

Scripture said, "Those that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits". Not those that have a God, what that means is that your knowledge of your God (YOUR FAITH) determines who you become and your becoming determines the level of exploits you command.
Faith commits God.

Your faith is what commits God to act for you. Most people Jesus healed, he will always say "Your faith has made you whole", from the Centurion servant, to the woman with the issue of blood, to blind Bartemeus, etc, it was their faith (PERSONAL).

The born again is not supposed to live on assumptions but by His faith which is fueled by the word of God and expressed in his actions. You can't have faith and not live it.

You can’t believe and not show it in your speech and attitude.
You can’t believe it and not behave it.
Your faith determines your state.
It moves one who believes to act. Mark 5:25-30

Intoxication is final evidence of faith.

Faith puts you in charge of everything that charges against your faith in God.
