[제임스 웹 우주망원경]허블망원경 100배 우주망원경

지름 6.5m의 우주망원경이 어제 새벽기준으로 정상적으로 반사거울을 펼치는 것에 성공하였다고 합니다.

잘 느낌은 안오지만.. 이정도 규모면 130억년전 우주탄생의 비밀까지 측정이 가능한 수준이라고 합니다.

아직 남아 있는 작업은… 2주동안 더 날아가 60만km를 더 날아가 최종 위치까지 안착을 해야한다고 하기는 하네요.

모든 과정이 순조롭다면 올 여름에는 관측을 시작 할 수 있다고 합니다.

우주의 기원에 대한.. 인간의 궁금증 해소에 과연 얼마나 도움이 될지..

웹 우주망원경이 가져올 우주정보가 벌써부터 궁금해지네요!
